Mary’s Update from 1996
Mary Hines Bendix attended New Trier East after leaving Parker. She received a BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts and her MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago.
An artist, she and her husband, Richard, have three children: Sarah (17), Emily (14) and Sam (9).
She writes that what she values most from her Parker experience was “the creative atmosphere.”
