I am still writing orchestral and chamber music (an orchestral piece will be played in Carnegie Hall in March 1999), but recently I’ve been also working with a trio that plays Jewish traditional music. Called Trio Gebirtig, we have a singer, a violinist and I am the pianist and arranger. We have done concerts allover Italy (where the trio is based) as well as in Switzerland, Austria and Poland. Discovering my cultural heritage has been an extraordinary and joyous experience.”

He lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Dorotea, and has two children, Benjamin and Natania,
